Cristina's Story
I chose to have my
placenta prepared
for me after the birth of my second child,
hoping that it would
help me in my postpartum period. I was completely blown away by how amazing I felt. I felt an infusion of energy. I had rosy cheeks. Everyone that saw me couldn’t believe how well I looked and how calm and energized I was. It was a complete 180 from what I felt and looked like when I had my first daughter. I have pictures of my first birth and there I am dark-circled and pale. After my second birth, while taking the placenta pills, I am rested and have a rosy complexion. My OB was even impressed at how well I looked.
Another important factor is that I actually was able to breastfeed. After my first birth, I never made enough milk for my baby. This time, not only did I have enough milk to feed my little girl, I had enough to pump for later! I can’t say enough about how important it is for your health and your baby’s to take these pills.
